About Michelle
It’s such a pleasure to connect with you! I’m Michelle, the owner and photographer behind Michelle Lange Photography. When I’m not capturing the joy of weddings or the sweet moments of children in their parents’ arms, you’ll find me with my greatest loves—my husband and our two wonderful children.
A few things that bring me joy:
I have a deep love for gardening and often find myself dreaming up beautifully designed homes.
Summer is my season—there’s nothing quite like the feeling of sand between my toes and the scent of a fresh ocean breeze.
I grew up vacationing in Cape Cod and have been fortunate to visit some truly breathtaking beaches in Hawaii, Italy, and Florida.
In the winter, I’m bundled up and cheering from the stands at my kids’ hockey games.
While I run an organized business, I truly value the beauty in life’s unscripted, imperfect moments—that’s where the magic often lives.
how it started
“For me, 2011 was a year of dreams. One dream came to life and another began to evolve.”
In 2011, my husband Mathias and I said “I do!” After spending a year thoughtfully planning every detail of our wedding, I was surprised by how quickly it all came to an end the very next morning. Yet even after the day had passed, I couldn’t stop visiting the same wedding and photography blogs that had inspired me during the planning process. I realized I wasn’t ready to let go of the creativity, beauty, and emotion that weddings bring—and it became clear that I was meant to be part of the wedding industry in a more lasting way.
In 2015, we welcomed our son, Max. His arrival inspired me to expand my business into family portraiture. Life is filled with meaningful moments far beyond a single day, and I believe those deserve to be documented, too. From weddings to newborns and everything in between, photography has a place wherever love and connection exist.
For me, photography is about capturing life as it unfolds and honoring the ever-evolving story of love in all its forms.
