New York and New Jersey Newborn Photography

On a warm Summer day, I made a trip from Upstate New York down to New Jersey to photograph the beautiful end of couple's long infertility journey and the very beginning of their parenthood journey. A few years ago, I met Kristin while working on a wedding related editorial shoot together.  I later worked with her on some portraits to pair with a write up on her infertility journey in The Grace Issue by Cottage Hill, a fine art magazine. A few months after we collaborated on those portraits, I heard some incredible news that Kristin was expecting. It was an absolute honor to be able to document a time in their lives filled with such happiness. Their two perfect little girls do not know how lucky they are to have such loving and faith-filled parents. You can read more about this shoot from Kristin's perspective on The Fount Collective.

"With each chapter of our journey, Michelle’s photographs tell our story where words fall short. I can’t wait for the rainy day when we pile onto the sofa as a family, reach for our beautiful wooden keepsake box of prints from this session, and show our girls that life and love are always to be cherished.” Kristin, Mother
