The morning of Katie & Ryan’s wedding, Mathias and I took our bikes to Liberty State Park to scout out portrait locations (well more me than him). The sun was shining, there was a slight breeze in the air and Liberty House was busy preparing for a big celebration that evening. At the hotel, a beautiful bride and gorgeous group of bridesmaids were getting all dolled up. One of the first things my eyes saw when I opened up the door, was a dress that many girls dream their entire life about. And I got to photograph a stunning bride on her wedding day wearing it!
My favorite moment was when the church doors first opened. While everyone was looking at the bride, I had my camera glued to Ryan. After months of guessing what his bride would be wearing on their wedding day, his expression said it all. The most important thing in that church, was not what she was wearing, it was his high school sweetheart and soon to be wife.
I always say that there is someone on this earth that every man and woman is meant to live a long happy life with. This couldn’t be more true with Katie & Ryan. And that is exactly what I wish them, a VERY long and VERY happy life as husband and wife.
Many thanks to Katie & Ryan for inviting me to document such an important day in your lives. It was beautiful.
