Sara Jane Martha Stewart and Will's wedding was full of creamy white, rosy pink and soft gold accents that were carefully designed for more than a year. After their DIY July 4th Engagement Session last year, I wouldn't have expected anything less detailed or beautiful than their wedding. Gold picture frames served as trays for hundreds of teacup candles and an assortment of elegant floral arrangements. Sara Jane's signature bow could be found on the invitations, table holders, cocktail picks, bridal bouquet and finally, her Jenny Yoo dress and Kate Spade shoes.
The best part of the day was, obviously, the couple themselves. This day was in the making for a LONG time and it was worth every year, month, week and day that led up to it. The smiles that beamed from the church pews only showed how much this couple is loved by their friends and family. I am sure if you took a picture of me, you would have see that same smile behind the camera as Sara Jane and Will were pronounced husband and wife.
It was a dream to document Sara Jane and Will's wedding, not only as a photographer, but as a friend. They believed in my dreams before I did and I couldn't ask for better friends. Friendship is a bow that the hands of an angel has tied.
